I recently came across this idea of having a ‘concept wall’ on the internet. The whole idea of making a concept wall is making the wall appear unique and distinct from the rest of the room. I researched the internet, browsed through some of the interesting interior décor magazines and figured some of the innovative ways to build a concept wall.

You can have a concept wall in your living room by using a bold coloured abstract laminate background and doing up its borders in contrasting shades. I feel the interesting colours of the background and borders would look absolutely stunning if they’re not further accessorized and just made to stand out on their own!

Another brilliant idea that I read in a magazine was to create a concept wall just to let your Plasma TV be the focus of the room! One has to make sure that the colour of the appliance complements yet stands out against the background wall ensuring the focus onto the appliance and creating an interesting feel to the room owing to the concept wall!

I came across at a friend’s home a concept wall with personal photographs covering the whole wall. The wall was interestingly done up with a texture paint in a bright colour. The family photographs were framed in different sizes and frames and were hung on the wall in interesting patterns! I feel this concept wall idea is totally practical and would suit any kind of room and home. Try it!

Pick up one idea and experiment for a few days and infuse freshness to your home interiors! I am sure your friends and family will all love your concept wall!! J
